Cascade collection - originally inspired by the captivating waterfalls Peter Layton saw during periods spent in the Scottish Highlands, Peter has moved on to rich, tumbling ribbons of pastel colour, such as the ones he admires in Gauguin's Tahitian paintings.
Peter Layton often draws inspiration from various sources, including many of his travels or, for example, great painters, and his masterful use of colours results in truly painterly works.
