Åsa Jungnelius (1975). After studies in glass and ceramics design at the College of Arts, Crafts and Design in Stockholm brought her special talents to Kosta Boda in 2007.
My first aim is to create glass that tells a story. Then I use aesthetics as a way of depicting the objective world in my own subjective manner. Often I use stereotypical artifacts as a model or reference in order to highlight or destroy the myth and its significance

"I make objects that I think might enrich the world. What does an enjoyable drinking glass look like? I want to make a glass in a way so that the glass feels enjoyable - because then when we use that glass, we’ll see each other and our own existence."
