Ulrica Hydman-Vallien’s most important form of expression is through her glass designs. She paints her striking and humorous designs straight onto the glass with free and unrestrained energy.

I start out with a crystal-clear idea and go on from there, painting directly on the glass with decorative, black-edged brushstrokes. I take the primrose path, where I meet many people – and upset a few as well – as I make my way ahead
