Cascade glass objects - originally inspired by the captivating waterfalls Peter Layton saw during periods spent in the Scottish Highlands, Peter has moved onto rich, tumbling ribbons of pastel colour, such as the ones he admires in Gauguin's Tahitian paintings.

Peter Layton often draws inspirations from various sources including many of his travels or for example great painters and his masterful use of colours results in truly painterly works.
