Mats Jonasson

Mats Jonasson joined Målerås in 1959 and became the main in-house designer.  Glass engraving and painting became a unique form of art that is enjoying a renaissance at Målerås Glassworks today.  His handmade collections of Wilde Life, Floral pieces, and Masq glass faces, as well as Masq tableware, are well-known around the world.

Mats, together with Ludvig Lofgren, Robert Ljubez, Erika Hoglund, Anna Kraitz and Markus Emilsson, are creating outstanding pieces of art.  Today, Målerås glass objects are admired and sold on all continents.
